Wise- Period 7

A loving boy was raised to defend one self and live on his own. Dave Pelzer son of an alcoholic mother embarks on a journey of struggles through out his life. As a young boy, Dave Pelzer learns that his pain comes from not having a place called home. Dave experiences  many conflicts as he moves home to home.  This places Dave in a difficult position as he learns that stealing, lying, and abusing his privileges in a home is hard to face, especially when one has their own challenges in life.

The Lost Boy by Dave Pelzer is a emotional book that is hard to put down. I experienced the different emotions from Tears, laughter, and the pain Dave felt as he grew. This book will put you in a position that will keep you thinking about how much a person can take in so little of time.
