I read the book called She Said Yes by Misty Bernall. I was about a girl who got shot in a school shooting, and her mom tells the story of Cassie’s life. She had a pretty tough life. Cassie didn’t really know who she was. Her parents disapproved of the friends she had because of the kind of influence they had on Cassie. It got to a point where they moved Cassie to a different school and forbid her to see her old friends. Cassie’s mom also found notes that Cassie had wrote, threatening to hurt or kill her parents. Once her mom saw the notes she knew Cassie was in the wrong group. It was then up to Cassie to discover who she really was, and she ended up getting into her religion. Since she was into religion it all goes back to why she was shot.

I think this was a very good book. I would give it a 9 out of ten because it was very interesting and I never wanted to put the book down. This is a good book, but its something that should be taken seriously.
