The main conflict in this book is just some obstacles that each person faced on getting themselves to saftey on 9/11. For example one person had to go down about 80 flights of stairs just to get to the bottom. On the way down they encountered many people that were injured and just people in a state of panic and confusion.  Another example is that one firefighter had to climb just about that many flights of stairs to get to the fire just to have the towers collapse on them.  

One aspect that i liked well i liked the entire book each story had its own importance and little part that i liked about it.  Each story touched me in a different way.  It was really cool to see what different people did to get out and how they helped out on that day.  Like one firefighter carried a woman down about 15 flights of stairs to safety, thats something that people will never forget. Those acts of bravery will always stay with us
