Lockowitz-Period 8

The book Saving Zoe by Alyson Noel is about a girl name Echo. Echo’s life is drastically changed when her sister Zoe dies. It’s hard for Echo to realize that she will never be able to talk to her sister again. She is extremely upset about it. In the beginning of the book, Echo says how she thought that these kinds of tragedies only happened to other people far away from her and her life.

The most appealing aspect for me was how Zoe’s diary could help Echo go on with her life. Before reading this book, I thought that when Echo read her sister’s diary it would just help her know what really happened to her sister. But it was more then that. It helped Echo get on with her life even though her sister is gone. I am sure it must be hard but Zoe’s diary helped Echo move on with her life without forgetting her sister.
