Percy has to once again save the world. This time its from Kronos and his army. He is given the task of finding Darilus workshop, which is conviently located at the middle of a maze underground. He can take two people with him, he choses Annabeth Chase, and Grover. Grover is afraid of the underground so at first he is reluctant to take this quest, but Percy persuades him into it. They find that a entrance to the maze is right under their noses, it’s at Zeus fist. Grover’s wife is the first one to find it after she see’s the new teacher, Quintus, sneaking into it after dark. One day while the camp is playing capture the flag, Percy falls into the entrance by accident. No one knows what’s inside. There is only one person who can navigate the labyrinth, its builder, Darilus. There is one other way to navigate the maze, by an unbreakable spool of thread, called Ariadne’s string. Percy faces many challenges inside, and outside the maze, like cleaning the stables of man eating horses. He is helped along the way by the gods, and some of them try to lead his off the right path.
