Gunslinger by Stephen King is about Roland the gunslinger tracking down the man in black to find out where the dark tower along the he meets a little boy who has gone back in time. He was hit by a car when crossing the street in New York. Through out the book Roland tells Jake about his path to becoming a gunslinger and how he is the last one of his kind.

I thought the book was very good. It had lots of action and suspense. I would recommend it to anyone who has read a Stephen King. I look forward to reading the rest of the Dark Tower series and finding out the ending.
