In the book A Man Named Dave by Dave Pelzer is a heartwarming and non forgettable book. Given the chance Dave is excepted in the air force and tries to live up to his fathers and mothers expectations. With the stress of that Dave soon get tragic news that his father has passed away. Leaving Dave with nothing, he tries to soon forget about it and move on, but it is to hard when that is all Dave ever had.

The book takes life to a whole new level. I soon realized how much I have compared to other families in the world today. Dave coming from a hard and un-warming family makes me feel that i take many things for granted.

Argentar p.5

I read the book called She Said Yes by Misty Bernall. I was about a girl who got shot in a school shooting, and her mom tells the story of Cassie’s life. She had a pretty tough life. Cassie didn’t really know who she was. Her parents disapproved of the friends she had because of the kind of influence they had on Cassie. It got to a point where they moved Cassie to a different school and forbid her to see her old friends. Cassie’s mom also found notes that Cassie had wrote, threatening to hurt or kill her parents. Once her mom saw the notes she knew Cassie was in the wrong group. It was then up to Cassie to discover who she really was, and she ended up getting into her religion. Since she was into religion it all goes back to why she was shot.

I think this was a very good book. I would give it a 9 out of ten because it was very interesting and I never wanted to put the book down. This is a good book, but its something that should be taken seriously.

Argentar period:5
This book is about a boy who had to fight every day to try to survive. His mother abused him, and he didn’t know how to escape. David always wondered what his life would be like if his mother had never abused him, but that he will never know. David trys to get help any way he can, but the help always seems to come a little too late. Davd explains in the book all the terrible things his mother did to him, and how it effected him as a child, and now as an adult.

I would rate this book a 10 because it was very good to be informed that some people have to live such an ugly life. I would also think it is a 10 because people should know that there are some bad people out there, and that your not the only one.
